I know this thread is specifically for Amazon prices but Debenhams have a sale on Kipling bags at the moment. Not sure how prices compare, at first glance they still look to be more than Amazon but haven't had chance to check.

I really liked the silver, too! I wanted a Reth or Fairfax in it but the prices didn't come down. I bought a large (ish) bag in silver at TKMaxx but now I don't think it's quite big enough for what I want. Plus I ordered a few last week which were reduced on Amazon, and I think a couple of those are silver, mostly because it seemed to be all silvers and greys that were reduced. Have 2 Amazon boxes here waiting to be opened as I was too busy yesterday.:(

I'm pretty sure on QVC they said you can't wash the lacquer ones. They always say something like 'we can't officially recommend you wash these bags (the normal ones) but personally we do wash them on low temperatures', but I'm sure they said not the lacquer ones.

Thanks for the link. The thread isn't exclusively for Amazon - it was just that when it started, it was because of a good offer on Amazon. I'm sure I amended the title a few weeks ago so it said 'and elsewhere' but that bit seems to have vanished.

I only ever intended this thread to be added onto the end of 7roland8's original thread. It was just that I couldn't locate that thread so started my own and asked the mods to join them but they decided not to as I think there had been quite a gap of time since the last post.

oooh thank you, better prices than their last offer but I have the Defna to return to them before I can use my giftcard and stupid Debenhams won't let you part pay with a gift card. :mad:

I've packed up my Cicely to send back as I prefer the Erasto. Not 100% sure about the lacquer finish but it's such a good price hopefully it'll be ok. This thread is lethal for tempting me lol.

Received the Orelie from QVC in Turquise Blue and Monkey Mania. Wanted one for me and one for my Mum's birthday. At first glance I'm thinking the Turqoise might be best for Mum as it's really bright - and she did like the Peony Defea I gave her (because it was too bright for me). Mind you I also ordered the Hannelora in Pink Flower Print as I thought she might like that, too. So final decision not being made until I have received them all.

I'm not sure about Monkey Mania, and would really appreciate some advice from you experts. It always seems to sell quickly on QVC so it must be popular, and I love it on telly but in the flesh the background colour is more beige/off white than I expected. I'm not sure if I like it or not. I'm nervous about returning it and then after a while deciding actually I do really like it - after all it does epitomise the brand. Might help if I can get some opinions please.

Well personally I prefer the plain bright colours to the prints - but as you say they always sell really well.
Think I'd rather a flowery one to the monkeys myself - but as they sell for more don't return it - why not sell on ebay if you don't want it - may get more for it.
