Well personally I prefer the plain bright colours to the prints - but as you say they always sell really well.
Think I'd rather a flowery one to the monkeys myself - but as they sell for more don't return it - why not sell on ebay if you don't want it - may get more for it.

I like some prints but not all. Most of my bags are plain but I do like a bit of a change sometimes. One of my favourites is the speckled blue, which I bought on ebay a few months ago. Haven't actually used it yet, but I love it!

I didn't realise the monkey print would sell for more - I thought ebay was usually cheaper than QVC. I might look into that... at least it's an option if I hold on to it for a few months and then decide it isn't really me.

Speaking of monkey print - on QVC I saw some listed as Dark Blue Monkey Mania (or something) but none of them had a pic. Does anyone know what that looks like?

EDIT Found this on ebay - if anyone else was curious, I bet this is the blue monkey print.

Does anyone else get carried away and then wonder what they were thinking??? I've bought 4 large bags from Amazon because I wanted something big enough for all my work stuff. Now I'm looking at them, they're not quite what I wanted and I'm thinking might be worth keeping for a day out or overnight bag :o

I think the Delana will be returned. It's longer than I thought it was and not as tall as I need. Not sure about the others. Oh but what a shame - it was £27 and now it's £42. Such a bargain! And the Madhouse I got for £28 is now £78

I think if you contact Kipling directly they will offer to repair or exchange it.

Now you're making me think I should reconsider!!! It's certainly nice and spacious, but it wouldn't do me for work, which is what I intended. At the moment I'm thinking the New Elise will fit everything for work, and I might keep one of the other large ones for overnight or days out. I love the Madhouse but it's not really big enough so I'm despetately trying to think of a use for it!!!!

Thanks for the info. I will try rubbing some pencil lead or candle wax on the zip first and see how that goes.:). It does work but just doesn't run smoothly yet. The bag is also quite a floppy design and the zip is very long so it makes it bit more awkward to open and close. Overall though I am very pleased with the quality of the bag.

I now have 3 Kipling bags and one purse...I think that's enough....isn't it?;)

Where do you live? There are probably a few of us who are returning one to amazon that was bought at the lower price. Perhaps you can meet up with someone local. I'm prob returning a Delana and would prefer to find it a good home than send back.
