  • You see this is the problem. You adopt the attitude that you'll just continue to post in the main forum but then all of a sudden your post (or the post you are following) is gone!

    The new forums are:
    - discriminatory
    - sexist
    - probably against some law or other, for equal rights
    - just plain stupid

Exactly. I'm a Dad, I've got three kids under 8 and the last place I would post a request for help and advice would be in a Dad's only forum!! Not that many Dad's wouldn't have great advice (I'm sure they would - I think I would have) its just that I really value the advice that Mums, Non Mums give as they can help you see things from a different point of view.

All of this pigeonholing is a massive backward step for what was an excellent inclusive forum! MSE really do need to reinstate things as they were before all of this silliness began!

If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

MSE was forced to separate men and women out of respect for Muslim posters.

So... I'm a mum... If I want a man's POV when my OH drives me nuts (to help me understand where he's at) where do I post?! There are no men on the dads board.

I love mse but this is a bit barmy.

    oh, stop it FATBALLZ :rotfl:

Re, the rejigging, I don't know. I'd like to know what precipitated it, I guess there must be a reason why they're doing it, as it's making more work for themselves.

I agree that the dads board is looking a bit.. underpopulated, lol
