I have heard the 'Sound of music singalong' in Leicester square is halarious can anyone else recommend it before I book it - also Tiger Tiger for a meal? what sort of nosh do they do?
Would definitely recommend "Sing a long a Sound of Music", it's a fantastic night out! I've been for the last 3 years now....the first 20 mins is spent learning the actions etc to do during the film and then looking at all the fantastic costumes that people are wearing (you don't have to get up on the stage!) and then you can sit back and watch the film. Not everyone dresses up, but it's great fun to do so (lots of men tend to opt for nun's outfits!) and would definitely say if there is a group of you, go!:D0 -

Yes I would recommend Singalonga Sound of Music too it lots of fun. I didnt dress up but there are lots of people who do.
As for the sort of nosh tiger tiger do. It's a mix of Oriental (i.e. noodles, spring rolls) with a few other types of dishes thrown in. When I went I had Spicy Veg Spring rolls followed by Chicken Fajitas. And my mum had Baked Salmon, so I would say they cater for everybody.0 -
We went to see 'Woman in Black' yesterday - didnt do the dinner and show deal but booked upper circle 12.50p tickes of last minute.
Show was really good (esp second half very very chilling!) and we had a pretty good view - couldnt see the very front of the stage or the very top of the backcloth but neither of these spoilt our enjoyment.
I love this play saw it at the fortune when i was still at school many years ago - and wasnt disappointed seeing it again even knowing the twists! even my unscarable friend screamed!!
....... wish we had done the deal it was my friends 30th so she choose the restuarant she wanted to go to in the evening .... a bolwl of chips was £3.50p ..... went against all my mse principles but it is only a one off! next time i go to london i will convince my mates to go with 0ps offfer sounds brill!
Also worth while saying i had no trouble with my booking through last minute picked up the tickets no hassle only had to show my confirmation email.Debt free May 2016 (without the support of MSE forum users that would never have been possible - thank you all)0 -

Yes it is, I went with a party of 30 teenagers a few weeks back and even that didn't spoil the enjoyment. It's absolutely hillarious0 -
There seems to be a limit of 6 tickets - I need 7 - anyone know if ther is a way to stipulate seating together if I make 2 bookings?0

Would anyone recommend please a show for my mum and her friend in their late 50s? I don't want to send them off to some dodgy show or a dodgy bar/restaurant for 20 somethings that they wont enjoy!
:rotfl: Thanks!
I think Blood Brothers would be a good choice...it doesn't have the cheese of something like Fame, but I don't know all the other shows...
My mum and dad went to see Blood Brothers during their 40's/50's and enjoyed it

The Woman in Black is great - probably not a goot one for kids, or those of a nervous disposition...Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
