Hiya.
At the minute, I have Sky TV, Sky Talk and Sky Fibre Broadband.
I'm moving home in January and Sky Fibre is not available in my new home (rural village). According to their website, I can't even get their basic broadband at a satisfactory speed (0.5MB!).
I can get Talk Talk Essential Broadband for £3.50 a month, providing I take out their line rental at £9.50 I think.
Sooo, my questions are: As they cannot provide me with the original service I signed up to, will they take this off my account and I won't have to pay for it for the remainder of the 12 month contract?
Also, what about my line rental with Sky? I'm obviously going to need the line rental from TT to have their internet.
I hope this makes sense!
Cheers

No, because your contract guaranteed you fibre at the existing address. Neither Sky (not any other provider) guarantee any service nationwide, and it's your choice to move to such an area. If TT are the only LLU provider on your new exchange, then you'll have to pay Sky any ETC owing on your contract in January. That will include line rental, calls and broadband.
Obviously you will be able to move the TV contract over if you wish.
Have you done a samknows check for any other LLU options at the new address? No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Thanks Macman for your speedy reply.
I see. Thanks a lot. I'll do that check now and see what other options are available to me.
