OK - it's an oil filled electric heater which runs off a leisure battery. The leisure battery is rechargable.
My friend also recommended insulated window screens - she said these really keep any generated warmth inside the van...
What is the wattage of the oil filled radiator? It's likely to drain the leisure battery in no time, and if not on hook-up (otherwise you'd be using an electric fan heater) how will you re-charge the leisure battery apart from going on a long drive?0 -

I have no idea - as I said, it's my friend's van & I told the OP I would find out for them, so I have....0 -
