Morning all, very windy in the night, but can't see any damage. Sun is shining now, but still a bit blustery.
Toad in the Hole on Friday night was a disaster..........thought I would get clever and put the veg in with the sausages. The result was a just about edible soggy mess! Shook my confidence a bit so resorted to the safety of a stir fry last night. Tonight am going to try pork stuffed with peppers, onions and garlic cheeses. Expecting another disaster!!! Also made some bread rolls that turned out really dry and tough! My bread is usually fine. There's a gremlin in my kitchen I think. (and it's called 'me'!!!)
Nothing much planned for today as OH has bad back, will watch the F1 and read the papers probably.
Hope all poorlies and poorly pets feel better soon.

My Ds2 is 18 today:T:T:T He was born with a heart defect and spent a couple of weeks in intensive care. His heart defect was only found after he was a near miss for SIDS and I resuscitated him. Now I look at him and marvel as I am so lucky to have him and he is a strapping six footer with a wonderful nature.

    Hugs x

Happy Birthday to your DS, hope he has a lovely day xxxx

Been shopping, had a voucher for M@talan for 20% off a £30 spend so bought DD new towels and 2 new cushions for the big lounge that were bogof so ended up getting the cushions for free!

L!dl wasn't very busy but got the weeks shop including the sack of onions for 99p. House spotless, DD brought in wood from the shed so we have plenty for a couple of weeks now.

, Auntie Wolfy's put a wrist splint on today again, but isn't using a sling, so though still not well, I think she's a mite better than she was, thanks.:o

I'm going home tomorrow afternoon, but hopefully I'll come and stay again - thanks for having me on your thread.:D

    Wuffs,

Cards written and ready to post

Spent an hour trying to stitch DS trousers as he split them jumping over a table at college, I know don't ask

Have caught up with Strictly and managed a run although very hilly and muddy so it felt like hard work but at least it's done.

    Might do some crochet tonight

    Have a good night x

    Hi all,

    Just popping my head in.

Baked fruit buns and flapjacks today.

Stew and dumplings for dinner in SC, sorted out the chest freezer, an embarrassing amount of meat in there, will not need to buy any this side of christmas, other freezer stacked with frozen veg, so in theory I will only need to buy the basics through December, which is good because what with Christmas and birthdays OS has stood for Over Spending recently - must get a grip.......

Washing done and put away, some ironing to do, but will do that tomorrow evening.

Love and hugs to those who need them x

Have a fab evening all x
