New to sky, how can I get it cheaper?

Hello, I'm new to sky, got a sky+hd box fitted 9days ago(free of charge) if I ring up to cancel will they offer me any deals? As I'm relly tempted to cancel with them, as I'm hardly getting any extra channels (children's,movies) thanks:)

You can cancel if you wish, you'll still have to pay up to the end of your contractual period though, which I'd imagine is 12 months.

Surely you investigated what channels you'd get before signing up for the free box and free installation?

BTW, I think they'll charge you full price for the box if you cancel within the first 12 months.

You are in a 12m minimum term contract, how do you expect to cancel after 9 days?
You'll have to wait for the end of your minimum term before you can negotiate a better deal.

I have been with sky for about 4 years and each year what I do is ring up and cancel some services. This year I cancelled our films and Multi room. Someone rang up within a couple of days and offered us the movies for free for 3 months and Multi room for 2.50 a month for 12 months

the best offers for contacted subscribers is to upgrade your package to half price movies or sports for 3 months..

ring them, pay them for the next 11 months to cancel as your contract requires, then ring them up the dayh after and ask them if they have any offers going.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

you are within the "cooling off" period, if you cancel they can (and do) remove the equipment, as you are under contract they will not offer you any deals, other than cheaper sports or movies but you will not receive any discounts off what you already have
