Are you for real?
Here's another clue for you when the weather turns, don't eat yellow snow either...
Yes. though by genre, not each item.
you made the statement of dismissing lots of morrisons product but not giving any clarity to the items.0 -
Just a thought, don't know about morrisons but I asked our local pasty shop and they use lard in the pastry for all their savoury ones so even cheese and onion isn't veggie. Plus a lot of cheese has animal rennet. Might be a good time to make your own stash and freeze for such occasions (much nicer home made too!)Bossymoo

I don't need to give clarity to the items. I don't work for you.
[p.s. genre is applied to art, music, films - not items of food at Morrisons! Unless you think that pasties are an art form. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:]If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
I'm sure there are some vegetarians who wear leather but IMO they generally do not. I certainly did not as a veggie, neither did any others I knew (and I knew a lot).
I know a lot of fellow veggies. Not one of them avoids leather shoes / several have leather sofas!!!Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -
I don't think level of distress is the only point here. I bought jam doughnuts yesterday and my son tucked in, only to find they were custard and he has an egg allergy. I informed the store and was offered a refund (no point as I scoffed the rest myself) but was more concerned about others being affected.
Would be keen to hear how OP got on when he contacted the store.0 -
I had a similar problem with Morrison's having the wrong filling in pasties in one of their stores. They told me that this wasn't very likely due to their high standards, but they would look into it.
They didn't seem to bother, I sent two e-mails over the course of 8 weeks asking if they had looked into the matter, but they didn't reply. I felt I had already spent too much time on it and just left it.0 -

How hard is that?0 -
Whilst working in Glasgow I went to a cafe for lunch and selected a pre-made veggie sandwich (which had the "safe for vegetarians" logo on it).
After taking a bite I discovered there was meat in it. I simply returned it to the cashier and explained that I was vegetarian and what had happened. She took it to the manager who was outraged (I didn't make a deal out of it at all I simply wanted to eat my lunch!) and said he'd get in touch with the suppliers immediately to complain and it should never have happened etc.
Anyways - he refunded the cost of the sandwich, replaced it (after checking!) and invited me back the following day for a free lunch!
I was very happy with the result!
Anyways, I digress - OP I would definitely get in touch with the store and escalate to Head Office if necessary -sounds like they don't know what they are doing!"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" A brief summary of what?
How can you briefly summarise the whole of a supermarket's stock? If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
I found chicken in a Morrisons vegetarian ready meal curry once and I returned it. They offered me a swap but it had put me off and I refused and took the refund. They took my name and address though and 3 weeks later I got a cheque (yes cheque, not voucher) for £30. Totally unprompted.
Oh and its only "bad" vegetarians who have leather sofas and leather shoes. At some point the vegan police will track them down and make them pay0
