Most mini bottles are 2 for £3.
Buying the more expensives ones works out cheaper for 6!
There's 4 or 5 different types priced at £2.29 individually.
These work out at £3.71 for a standard 75cl bottle.
For example;
Blossom Hill White Zinfandel 18.75cl - £2.29 x 6 = £13.74
£13.74 - £3.44(25% off) - £4.74(6 for £9) = £5.56 for 6 bottles.
As 6 small bottles equates to 1 and a half 'big' bottles that becomes £3.71 for 75cl.
You save about £1 against the large bottles of BH W. Zinfandel even with the 25% off taken into account, and these are a great size if like me, you don't want to finish off a large bottle of wine (although I do get the urge to often!).:j
Is there anything to be gained with trying through price promise - would it not see the 25% ... Just a thought ..0 -
Just been to our local. A few 2 for £12 offers but nothing major.0

Morning All
Can anyone that has been out please confrim prices inclding discounts?
Half hour trip to tesco, so need to make sure its worth it!
TIA
x
I've been this morning to one of the big Cardiff stores and there were no glitches on what I got, but it def' seems to be on all wines not just selected ones, unless that's different online.
I got the Silver Bay @ 2 for £5. I know it is very light although it's 8% but it's really nice mixed with orange J20 and some slices of orange in it. If you're going to drink quite a bit over Christmas it's a good one to go for as you wont feel wooly headed before you've even sat down to lunch!!
I also got a couple of bottles of finest which were £7.99 for 2 for £12 and various other half price wines @£4.99 bottle.
Interestingly they take the 25% discount off the full price of the multi buy ones.
Then I used the £2 coupon from the Food Magazine for the Finest Wines - even though the discount had taken them to below the £10 spend and I had a £5 off £40 voucher from my £20 spend last week.
So grand total for 12 bottles of Silver Bay, 5 bottles of half price assorted reds @£4.99 plus 2 bottles of Tesco Finest Chianti @£7.99 £85.21.
Discount on the Silver Bay £14.28, discount on the finest £3.98 discount for 25% off £21.31. New total £45.64. Minus £2 Food magazine coupon and £5 coupon. Grand total only £38.64.
If I had had multiple bottles of finest I think I could have used multiple £2 coupons and also of course if you traded your clubcard points in for finest wine!!! They'll be giving it to us for free soon.
PS Just flicking through the food magazine and there's also a coupon towards the back for £3 off a £12 spend on dairy valid until 30 December.0 -

Been & collected 60 bottles this morning of various different finest wines (+ a compulsory advocat). Give me a min & will load up a pic......
Ruby ruby - was it on all wines? As one post suggests only on selected wines but cannot see any reference to 25% off on tesco website never mind selected wines? I have to leave for hospital appt in 5 mins and drive past tesco on way back (normally its a 30m round trip) was hoping to work out best buy and see if PP ..but will just take a punt - could do with knowing if on all or some tho ta.0 -
Snap - posted a tsame time - looks like its off all - now of to shop. Good to see finest deal
Thanks ruby ruby :Truby and poster above

25% off applies to any six wines.
The ROSE Ogio is half price (£5 from £10). White isn't on offer.
I couldn't see any 3 for £12, just a couple of 2 for £12.0 -
Tesco have an advert in todays paper stating 25% off all wine for 6 or more bottles.0

Yeah, the signs (that they were still putting up) said on any wine or champagne.
Nothing mentioned about excluding any, but it didn't work on my advocaat0 -

So you can see from the receipt that it's taken the 25% off the original total (less the £6 for the advocat) and then taken the 2 for £12 discounts off as well.
It was def off everything on my list and obviously on this receipt posted here too. I don't know why they are saying selected wines.0
