Morning LPP glad the toothache's a bit better, you will probably have a bit of swelling for a few days but it should be all gone soon.

Looking a bit damp & dreich out there this morning :( but we're getting off lightly compared to some parts of the country so shouldn't complain too much - hope everyone's safe where they are.

Today's list is mostly LO from yesterday....
    • Usual daily stuff Done
    • Washing x 2 - does anyone else go from having a 1/2 full laundry bin to a full one in a day? ... or is it just me!:rotfl:Did 1 wash of most essential stuff - not quite enough for a 2nd full wash so have left
    • Knit DMs Christmas scarf .... running out of time!:eek: Argh - not doing well with this!
    • Finish letter to Water Supplier - have been working on this already. Final draft done, just need to check, print off & put in the envelope! Done
    • Sort winter car kit & put in car! Have put together but it's not in the car as it's been absolutely PELTING down all day!:(
    • Find camping stove & put somewhere handy (for power cuts) Not been outside .....
    • Watch F1 later:) Can't believe it's finished already - where has this year gone:eek:
    • See if I have anything else worth listing on e*bay - free listing again!
I did a bit of decluttering too yesterday and sorted out winter / summer stuff and put them all together - rather than everything being just shoved in where it would fit :o.

*sigh* - I feel a lot more organised :) and, best of all, I managed to empty a (small) drawer in one of my bedroom cabinets :T which means I've been able to organise my winter stuff much better so I should hopefully be able to find what I need, when I need it!:)

Have a good day all :D

    Morning all

Finally stopped raining 'darn sarth' for a bit. Had a minor catastrophe last night - water dripping in from the top of my kitchen window & quite fast - eek. DH sussed it & is out this morning doing running repair - phew!
Managed to do a load of filing & get rid of old rubbish in my 'filing system' (term used very loosely ;))
Cleared a space in my bathroom cupboard to hold my heater rollers.
    Mission for today
    1) Mend DH overalls
    2) Make Curtain for archway between utility & kitchen BEFORE it starts getting really cold.
    3) List a few more items on eBay
    4) Make lamb hotpot - got a recipe that uses black pudding in it so going to try

    Thinks that's enough for a Sunday :)
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

  • Saw this on the old style thread - it might be useful to the crafty people on here...

I cut the ribbons from the inside shoulders of tops and jumpers and use it in card making. I sell my cards for £1 a time, so this little bit of thrift gives me a very good return.

    Bella.
