Virgin Media without a phone line

We have Virgin Media for phone, broadband and TV.

The price is going up soon.

We don't use the telephone, ever.

I'd like to change phone provider to someone really cheap, but I'd like to keep BB and TV with Virgin.

Is this possible, or am I really obliged to take all three? Or is there an added expense that makes it not worth it?

£10-£11 extra a month when you don't have a phone line, move the toggle on here...

The saving will be minimal, as they heavily incentivise you to take the triple play bundle.
And, since you are on cable, a switch to any other provider will require you to have a BT-based line installed or reconnected, which is chargeable.
If you dont use the phone, ever, why would you bother?

In theory it would be cheaper to buy BB & phone separately but VM don't allow this.

Cheapest way's probably threaten to leave & see what discount they offer you.
