I bought goods from screwfix online when opening the box one of the tins was leaking it
ruined my carpet,I rang them twice and emailed them I was told to get two estimates
for the carpet which I did and sent them to them,I got a letter this morning saying
Screwfix Direct are not going to replace the carpet as it was bought in December 2003
but offered £250 as a goodwill gesture if I sign a disclaimer, where do I stand on this
any legal people in here,I sent an email this morning saying I wasnt happy about this.
