Hi can anyone tell me if mil died in march and the property has been empty since do we have to pay water rates until it is sold. Thanks

Did it have furniture left in or removed?

If you now tell them it has been unfurnished since March they might raise an eyebrow!

Thanks for that and yes property was emptied by end of march.

Call them and ask for the VOID status to be applied, as you are asking for it to be backdated they will probably not be able to do this over the phone and would more then likely ask for death cert
