You can't do much other than use your judgement. In favour, they take credit cards and have a UK phone number and a London address. Against, the London address is just a post drop service, not the business headquarters, the site and T&C's look like a quick template job and the site was created just this year. Whois provides this:

Although only just over a month old, the site seems to be registered to an address on a trading estate in a small village near Luton and a quick Google Earth seems to bear that out as genuine.

Thanks Fifer, think I will just leave it this time, my first inkling was nah it looks to good to be true, but then the lure of the pretty jewellery made me check back a few times. Keep my pennies in my pocket :-)

I edited my post. The St Albans address seems to be a virtual office service according to google.

Wouldnt touch them personally.....

1) As a website designed for selling it must inform you who you are dealing with and no where on the site tells you the legal entity behind the site

2) Its only just registered

3) "Zynga Technologies" who are named as the domain owners are not a UK registered company

My guess is the address is a virtual office given a newly formed sole trader is unlikely to have their own office

Based on the other research its a Sole Trader by the name of Sandip Sen and so it should be listed as Sandip Sen t/a Jewellery Daily Deals (UK)

Gut feeling and common sense goes a long way on the Internet.

It will probably be one of these scams that mushroom just before Christmas time, delivery promised, but never arrives, and then disappears over the holiday season, using the holiday period as an excuse for not answering queries.
