For window cleaning inside and out (so would be good for a quick clear of condensation on the inside of the windscreen) I can thoroughly recommend something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WINDSHIELD-WONDER-CAR-GLASS-DEMISTER-CLEANER-WIPER-WITH-SPRAY-/270975214056 They can be found in PoundStretcher for £2.99
I need to get another one to use in the house too, works really well.
Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -
The OP has a Mk2 TT which I would assume has climate control. All that needs to be done is leave the system on Auto which will then ensure that the evaporator is active and dry the air out. The heating is applied afterwards so the result is dry warm air in the car. The outside airtemp does need to be above 3-5°c for this to work though.Strider590 wrote: »And if your doing THAT short a journey, you should consider walking. Absolutely no condenstation today or yesterday btw! Probably the temperature increase as some of you guys have said though. Going to try the gel and the A/C on full and see how I get on, if I still get condensation I'm taking it to the garage and getting that Windshield Wonder car demister
Thanks again all!0 -
All my cars are old Land Rovers, so it's usually wetter inside the car than outside...
The best thing I've found for wiping the windows is a microfibre household cloth from the 'cleaning stuff' aisle in the supermarket. I've never taken any note of the brand but I think it's 3M or Scotchbrite? The one that always feels a bit 'tacky' anyway.
You won't always remember to take it out of the car, but if there's one bit of the dashboard that gets warm, from the heater, or above the radio or something, that's where you store the cloth0
