According to today's paper, tomorrow's (Sunday's) prize is a Kindle Fire.

    John Lewis Comp T&C's
The competition starts at 9am on November 24, 2012 and closes at 20.59 on November 26, 2012. Each hour will run from XX.00 to XX.59 (for instance, the first hour is 9.00 to 9.59).

    It's pretty clear to me.

What you quoted is, but you missed the bit about there being only 12 prizes for the John Lewis vouchers, thats whats confusing me and other people. They have 36 hourly draw for 12 prizes. Glad to see you are clear though

I still think the 26/11 end date for the John Lewis vouchers is a mistake as right at the start of the terms and conditions it says

There will be 12 sets of £200 John Lewis vouchers to be won. All Christmas competitions will run over a 12-hour period from 9am to 9pm each day.

But as we don't know whether both the Amazon and John Lewis comps are both running it's pretty theoretical.

Then please explain why they are saying "12 sets of £200 John Lewis vouchers to be won" and "There will be 1 winner per hour and 12 winners for the competition" if its running 12 hours a day for 3 days? Ta.
    Thank you all who post.

Ok fair enough. I think everyone else should hold off entering just in case eh? ;)

I understand that, but if the T&C's say entry is open now until the 26th then no matter how many prizes there actually are your entry will be valid because it is clearly stated in the T&C's that entry is open.

As its also clearly stated there are 12 prizes so its not clear at all. Though to you it is. Can still be a mistake. Though so can the number of prizes in the T&C's. Most people inc myself are entering both. I always enter comps that I can even if the T&Cs say that they are not open. I currently have 3 dailies that are meant to be over, but the comps still live so I still enter.

Personally I think the mistake is in the number of prizes and not the entry dates.

If it is the entry dates then it means the comp will end today.
If it's not then it means the number of prizes is a mistake.
Either way I do not see what anyone has to lose by entering today.
  • Just to add the amazon voucher comp is advertised on page 5 of the magazine today
