Chillis = Tomatos
I grew a whole bunch of chilli plants last year (various habaneros)... they all fruited nicely but now they are all dying...should they do that? I have been told they are like tomato plants and not knowing much about tomatos do they do the same thing i.e. one season and then die?

Yeah they are an annual in this climate even indoors -it's to do with the light etc. Get some chili seeds and grow some more -if you dried any last year use them.The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

yes chili seeds can survive being frozen - try and start more than you need though to be on the safe side.The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

will do. I'd say we had a 50% success rate with the first batch.. planted 70 seeds and had pots coming out of our ears... expecting only about 10 to grow!!Lady Astor: "Winston, if I were your wife I'd put poison in your coffee."
