We have a sofa from both and the quality difference between them is huge.
We have had a DFS sofa for 10 years or so now and has been OK but wasn't one of the cheaper special promotional ones.
We looked in CSL along with others very recently and quality of sofas was pretty similar in all for the standard middle of price range type ones - they are not hard wood framed and all seems to have pretty soft fibre cushions (albeit with foam as an upgrade in DFS)
Google CSL complaints and get files as long as DFS to be honest so can't really see much differnce in sales techniques, and particularly after sales care etc0 -
Barker and Stonehouse in Knareborough are having a relocation sale at the moment...........make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
We've judt ordered from CSL, with delivery next weekend. I looked at all the usual places M&S, B&S John Lewis, DFS etc. But i could only find suites that i liked in CSL. Hoping i don't regret my choice. If it lasts 4-5 years i'll be happy, we only spent £1400.0

We have a John Lewis fabric corner sofa, it's this one:

For the price it's amazing and so comfy - miles better than anything we tried in the other various furniture stores.0
