    Morning All :)

Lovely to see such as busy thread:D My list for today:

Clean carpet in spare room so we can put wardrobes up - have already vacuumed - need to pop out to buy some more solution for the carpet cleaner
Meals from stores - lamb stew in slow cooker already :)
check banking - update my spreadsheet - see if there is a way of getting excel on to my iPad (free or as cheaply as possible) so I don't have to keep logging on to my work PC whilst I'm off :o
Sorted out some more stuff to declutter - big box for charity shop - will drop off later if I can
Moved all books from one spare room to another (whilst loosing a few to charity shop)
Gas man finally fixed our water issue at 4th time of asking :j

Think that's about all, have a great day everyone :)

I have managed all the above apart from finding the excel sheet for iPad. Found one that is about £6 - may just think of another way.

I have also had notification that the subs I chased the gym for as they increased my DD when we are on a life time deal will be refunded and DD will return to previously agreed amount.

I have also given notification at DD nursery for her days to be reduced in half - saving £369 per month - at least for the next few months :j:eek::D
  • stitching witch I live just up the road from you (Andover way). Which craft fairs do you do? It's something I'd like to get into next year :)
This craft fair is in my village, almost opposite my house actually and I'm using it to see how I get on although, realistically, it's a small village and I've not seen much advertising so I don't know how busy it will be, especially if this weather keeps up!
We were only given 5 weeks notice so it's been a bit of a scramble getting stock done, but my friend and I are going to make stuff all year round to really fill a stall in town next year. PM me if you're interested.

And on a DFW note, the water company have sent me a cheque for fitting our water meter late in the spring, and uplifted it by £20 for taking so long in sending the cheque! I wasn't expecting anything so it's a £55 bonus :j:j

Ohhhhhhh I hate that - my last neighbours were a couple and I never heard them .... this lot, I can hear them thundering up and down the stairs, slamming doors etc ...... sympathies from me:(

When we moved in we had a fairly young couple like us next door & they were so lovely! I wish I had taken the time to get to know them more now as I miss them so much lol. The most we heard was the lady laughing or the bloke singing! He even had a good voice :) These people seem nice & at least when the child cries this time we can hear someone going to him instead of letting him wail for hours but I would like my sleep while I still can! When I'm ready for sleepless nights then I'll have my own kids to wake me up, haha, & in a house with thicker walls so as not to disturb the neighbours....

I am glad you've managed to avoid a return trip to hospital, hope you are feeling much better very soon, it sounds very serious :( x
