My 1001 days finished in September but I only completed about 40 of the things. My new list starting on January 1st will be more realistic, and hopefully life won't get in the way this time
Ahhhhh .... thanks for the links:) - I've had a quick look and can see [STRIKE]part[/STRIKE] most :oof the day being spent reading people's lists and getting ideas!:TGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Today I will:
- Pay in £92.58 worth of cheques
£50 was borrowed from my make £10 a day account so that will be going back there hopefully until the end of the month.
- Check bank account. Done, not looking healthy but the cheques will help.
- Check my figures for the challenge, I think I am on more than £105 and expecting bits and bobs from Quidco etc.
- Sign up to Toluna (happy to use a referral if that helps anyone out, PM me).
- Check my surveys and do some SBing.
- Maybe have a cheap night out - I will be driving and drinking tap water.

Morning All
Lovely to see such as busy thread:D My list for today:
Clean carpet in spare room so we can put wardrobes up - have already vacuumed - need to pop out to buy some more solution for the carpet cleaner
Meals from stores - lamb stew in slow cooker already
check banking - update my spreadsheet - see if there is a way of getting excel on to my iPad (free or as cheaply as possible) so I don't have to keep logging on to my work PC whilst I'm off
Sorted out some more stuff to declutter - big box for charity shop - will drop off later if I can
Moved all books from one spare room to another (whilst loosing a few to charity shop)
Gas man finally fixed our water issue at 4th time of asking :j
Think that's about all, have a great day everyone0 -
Hello!
- borrowing couple of DVDs from a friend and not getting Sky (hope this lasts!)
- debating whether to join gym - need to lose a lot of weight, but will be away for 2 weeks over Christmas, maybe can convince myself I'll do some walking in meantime!!
- free lunch at work
See the free postcode lottery - do you need to check in every week or day? Do they not send emails?
Thanks!! Hope you all have a good day!0 -
Hi everyone,
I'm actually in quite a good mood despite being woken up by next door's kid crying at 6.30am! They are definitely an improvement on our last neighbours, but the walls are so thin it seems we're still going to be woken up when the kid cries
Thanks for starting us off LPP, hope you feel better soon.
Well done OF! I think I will add that one to my list next time as it's so sweet
Zepsgal - Just remember a bargain is only a bargain if you really need it! I lost out on Dark Shadows DVD for only £5.49 yesterday by minutes....gutted!! It would have been a perfect xmas present for either of my sisters.
Stitchy - I'm with you on that one! Life just gets in the way of the 101 list too often, but I like to think you did 40 more things than you would have done anyway
Ziggy - Thank you, I will give it a go then! I was scared I'd have the most horrendous spam...get it regularly on my mobile now & I don't want that to increase!
Ally - Well done on paying off your credit card! :j
Oompa - Imo gyms are often a waste of money, I would personally join a class doing something you enjoy as it's much more fun than slogging it out in the gym! If you are set on the gym though is it worth finding a payg gym, or a short term contract? That way if you don't stick with it you've not lost as much, but of course you won't do that, go go motivation!
Today I have/will:-- Made use of free water & milk at work
- Food from stores
- Staying in for my lunchbreak to avoid spending, but need to pop out to the cash machine as there are collections going round...will use the ATM that gives out £5 notes!
- Leftovers for lunch
- Dinner from meal plan - Marinaded chicken & veg
- Charged phone at work
- Heating off as long as possible, lots of layers are the way forward
- Daily clicks etc on Sw@gbucks
- Log calories using free app
- Check online banking
- Surveys
- Declutter & flylady
- Check for new mystery shopping opportunities
- Enter some comps
- Thinking about what to get people for Xmas & how best to stick to my budget for DH...Need to email some family members who have asked what they can get him, if I know he's getting what he wants from them too I won't feel the need to spend so much on him!
- Need to update grocery challenge still...
- Check out grabbit board
- Washing on eco setting using less than the recommended dose of washing liquid
- Hang up to dry
- Stalking Black Friday deals on Amaz0n, picked up one bargain & hoping for another as seen something DH would love for Xmas, £25 full price so let's see what it goes down to!

Ohhhhhhh I hate that - my last neighbours were a couple and I never heard them .... this lot, I can hear them thundering up and down the stairs, slamming doors etc ...... sympathies from me:(Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250

I'm unfortunately having what could be termed a .... difficult day.
Phoned Dr - who decided I needed a house visit. Dr came & spoke to hospital who decided I should be admitted again  errrrr NO WAY!:(
After much discussion, I am at home but have to go to hospital if I get any worse ... meds slightly adjusted & have to go to clinic next week.......
Just want to be better
2nd difficult thing - storage tower arrived and it's absolutely perfectand came fully built .... except for the wheels, which are supposed to clip into a plastic bit which fits onto the bottom of the unit ....... and ....... I cannot get them to clip in
Seriously, I have tried everything I can think of - they won't just clip in using my hands (as they should), I've banged them on something hard .... and have even taken a hammer to them (gently) and no joy.
Contacted seller & asked if replacement wheels could be sent if I returned these or could someone try to get these ones clipped in (I do have arthritis in my hands so they're not as strong as most peoples) - nope, will only take the whole thing back and refund.
Waiting for my neighbour to get home to see if he can clip them in but I'm doubtful .... if not, it'll have to go backPITA as really like it

Afternoon folks
Well done on all the great efforts and achievements everyone has made today :money::beer:
Having a rubbish day and feeling sorry for myself
Today I:- checked banking - very bleak
- checked emails and saw the MS company have processed a payment:T not in the bank yet but hopefully will be by Monday
- had an overnight last night on a room only basis so we had a long lie and went for brunch rather than breakfast and lunch
- Gutted DS2 bedroom and got shot of loads of old toys and clothes
- emailed Virgin re ongoing issue with money they owe me
- called virgin to try get OH a better deal on his package but they couldn't help
- Checked EB listings. One of them has 12 watchers but no bids. It's a bundle of clothes with a very low starting price. I hope they go for a reasonable price. I'd be happy with £10 for the lot
Got an email about a MS - first in 2 weeks - and by the time I got logged in, someone had taken it.
