Oh boy, T&Cs to die for!

  • I read the T&Cs without really noticing what was for sale. With those Draconian rules I would have thought the seller was dealing in human transplant organs or precious gems, not used button magazines! Ha ha. Let's all watch the items and really make his/her day...
  • It's tempting to bid and then say it hasnt arrived..

This seller is crazy stating she will send the proof of postage to the buyer should the item not arrive. She'll end up the loser when ebay makes her refund and the buyer also claims from Royal Mail!
I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:

I can't believe that she can be bothered to spend all that time on packing her goods and then driving to and from the Post Office, whilst calculating the mileage and averaging it out etc etc etc, all for 56p!
"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"
  • The grammar in those T&Cs is appalling

It's the Basil Fawlty of Ebay, the only thing that spoils their auctions are those pesky customers, without them it would all be fine.

Apart from return policy and something about combined post I've never felt the need to have any terms and conditions on the listing (except occasional item specific ones). They are pointless and counter-productive. Nice to see that most people on here agree.

One of the best I've seen. Would you buy?..
If I wanted an item he/she was selling I would happily bid.

He/she has excellent feedback with only one negative and he/she leaves good feedback too.

The daft Ts & Cs wouldn't worry me.

I sort of agree although I do wonder more with someone with good feedback why they have stupid terms, it makes me think they've been riding their luck for a while.

  • teehee, so tempting to bid on it...but i don't need any old button magazines, haha!
Saving for a return trip to America, 3 weeks on Route 66 for our honeymoon just wasn't long enough!
