Has anyone been released from a virgin contract?

Been a bloody nightmare from start to finish and they never did send us a paper copy of our contract.
Anyway I think and hope its up in April but we will be moving in feburary.
I would rather just pay off any outstanding balance and get something different in the new house as they start you on a whole new contract if you move house locking us in again.
Has anyone successfully got out of a contract and do you know how they calculate what you will owe?
We have a phone line to have the internet but never use the home phone.
How much notice should I be giving? I dont want it to stop working before we move but I dont want to pay for a whole extra month if I dont have to.
thanks

The ETC's are all stated on the VM website, the amont will depend what tariff you are on. You need to give 30 days notice.
No, you can't get out of your contract without a ETC, unless you are bankrupt or dead.No free lunch, and no free laptop
