  • gentleorange, my husband is 42 and has never drank hot drinks in his life, he took a sip of my (admittedly StarBucks) caramel latte and loved it. There is that much sugar and cream in it, that it masks the taste of the coffee really. Now he drinks ordinary coffee all the time!

Btw Lidl has 350ml bottles of flavoured syrup (vanilla / hazelnut / caramel) for £1.29 atm; Aldi has some Irish coffee shots in offer from tomorrow.
I could never find the syrups locally so found a really easy recipe, 200ml sugar top up to 300ml with boiling water and stir, once all desolved add a desert spoon of vanilla extract, yummy :j

They are normally made with milk as far as I know, but you should be able to get soy milk if that's of any use to you (no idea if they charge extra though).

I hate the fact that they are all full of sugar - there's never any seasonal/special sugar free options available.
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

They can make any drink with soya and they don't charge extra.
