It seems crazy that it ends at 5.00pm. What about the workers?! Oh well, - I wll put my money back in my purse.
  • Silly question maybe, but are these flavoured drinks any good for people who don't like coffee? The flavours all sound so nice I'm really tempted, but I've only ever tried regular coffee and I don't like it!

I used to hate coffee, started off drinking mochas and now I love coffee, I drink lattes all the time. I had a starbucks toffee nut latte the other week though and it was rank :-/

The black forest hot choc is really yummy, but I think there are about 600 calories in it or something ridiculous like that!

Yummy.....a nice coffee is a daily treat for me, more often than not from Costa. This time I can be twice as nice to myself :D

Btw Lidl has 350ml bottles of flavoured syrup (vanilla / hazelnut / caramel) for £1.29 atm; Aldi has some Irish coffee shots in offer from tomorrow.

I know it is a silly question, but what you do with the syrups? I see them in Makro but am not sure what you would do with them.

I think they are the flavours that go into coffee. They are also great in hot chocolate with mint.
  • You just pop a tablespoon or so of syrup into your coffee eg to make a vanilla latte. My local Lidl had sold out of the syrups yesterday though, an almost wasted walk for me.
    Slummy mummy!

Black Forest hot chocolate is amazing but 550 calories so that's breakfast and lunch. Today I had the gingerbread latte and wasn't too impressed (I'm usually a skinny caramel latte girl). The Starbucks one is much nicer - all creamy and full of lovely calories. I had three at the weekend and put a pound on this week. Ah well I lost a pound killing myself at the gym last week so it's evened out .
