Email sent. If they do phone I'm guessing I accept nothing other than an acceptable amount of money off? Anything I should avoid saying if they do call? Something that if recorded and I did have to go via ombudsmen would jeopardise? Other than obvious things. I'm also disabled and 8 months pregnant, so boy do they have some grovelling to do. :P0

But every situation is different and you need rely on your judgement.
Once you have the email confirmation they are locked to their own timetable. Print out the Edf complaints procedure and strictly enforce the timetable and escalation procedure. The "complaints resolution" direct telephone number is quite useful to get a "stuck" issue going again.
One thing that I might suggest is that you inform billing by telephone to inform them that you have disputed the bill via the complaints process and there needs to be a immediate stay on bill follow-up.0
