One would hope it would be covered by the current 7 year warranty, assuming they have not solved the problem on the newer models.

My sisters has one , she says its cheap no frills motoring , pretty basic trim but a adequate about town run around , she reckons around 50 MPG ...

Thr trim is even more basic in Spain, entry level model - no radio, no air con & no 5th wheel. When I enquired at a dealership the owner (English) tried to fiddle me out of an additional €1500 by saying he had to add vat onto the OTR price. Thats just Brits in Spain though.
Glad I never bought one as I had no idea at the time that the mpg published is basically pure fiction.:rotfl:

Kia have refused to pay repair cost only parts cost and thats a battle to even get the parts for free and you have to be the original owner as well.
Apparently its all down to a one bolt thats bolts the crank pulley to the engine which was machined wrongly so there is too much play in the crank pulley which also eventually makes the crank to have play in it as well.
