Norton Internet Security 2012

Have any users of the above had an e-mail to say you can upgrade to NIS 2013.I received one yesterday but instead of clicking the link i signed into my Norton account and tried to do it there,it said i was upto date USING 2012 and said nothing about NIS 2013,could it be a fake.

Yes I got the message the other day, however I'd already upgraded by going to the version check page.

One thing to consider though is that very cheap copies of NIS 2012 may still be around so it might be worth buying one of those to extend your licence by 12 months then doing the upgrade to 2013 for free.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

Yes, if you want to pay for a security package rather than use a free one then that's the way to do it.
I'll be watching out for discounted versions of NIS 2012 over the next month or so once 2013 becomes the standard offering and install it once my current version expires in February.0
