Best sim only deal - 5-6 trips to Spain each year

hi there got the Huawei phone just got it unlocked from vodafone via a recommnedation on ebay from here which worked perfectly (much to my surprise) and now need to get a sim contract. Have been looking on a great thread on HUKD and was going to sign up to 3 but now a better deal with orange bearing in mind quidco cashback. However one thing I need to bear in mind is each company's overseas packages for use when in spain ie using internet (although would always use wifi if available). So does anyone know if any companies are better than others for charges in Europe as this will have quite a bearing on which I choose. many thanks for any help

Most of the operators have a fairly standard cost for data roaming as EU law prevents them from charging too much. Both the networks you mention, Three and Orange, charge 69.6p per MB while roaming in Spain. Both also have options for travelling in Europe...Orange has a Weekly Euro Bundle for £19, but this only gives you 30MB (also includes minutes and texts). Three offers a Euro Internet Pass at £5/day, which is unlimited, you just have to be careful not to use data roaming without buying the pass each day. Hope this helps.

yes it does help, thank you. the orange deal sounds good as I would want to be able to use the phone for texts and calls back to England if necessary
