Tmobile (EE) MNP Early termination penalty ???

I have cancelled my sim only contract with Tmobile, I cancelled within the last 30 days of my 12 month deal

yet when I received my bill there’s a charge (£3.30) under the heading

MNP Early Termination Penalty (VAT exempt)

anyone any experience of this, I’ve checked a few forums and got mixed messages, any one shed any light on this

You cancelled your contract before the minimum period is up, so you have to pay off what's remaining, in your case £3.30's worth.

Just to clarify, I cancelled within the last 30 days of the contract, then i gave the required 30 days notice.

Howsver like most people I assume I had already paid my line rental in advance, so how can i be charged a penalty if i have paid in advance for the contract ???

just phoned 150 and got this charge refunded

they tried to waffle on about a previous account outstanding balance, soon put that theory to bed

and got the so called early termination penalty refunded
