New build apartment - Will it be RV or meter?

Hi,

I am thinking of moving into an apartment in Liverpool City Centre which is new build. It is in a block of 4-50 other apartments. Do you think it would be a meter with it being new build, or where would the meter be if it had one? Couldn't see one in the Utility Cupboard when I went for the viewing.

Its 550 rent but worth £180,000 so i'm a bit worried on the RV. Thanks.

All properties built since 1990 had to have a meter fitted.

In the rare case where this was not physically possible an assessed rate will be given. However it will not have an RV as the RV system finished in 1990 and the Poll tax took over(followed by the Council Tax) and none of those 2 systems affect what you pay for water.

If the meter is not in the apartment it will probably be in the basement.
