Congrats Ozma83 I entered as did many others, its a great prize as I enter all holiday comps as flights can be arranged to anywhere during the right time of year for a reasonable cost.
I work in travel so if you need any help looking for flights let me know.
I have just been to South Africa in September (not a comp win unfortunately) and it was an awesome experience. I would do it again in a heartbeatBlessed on 18th February 2014 at 0814 with little Sarah xxx0 -
Hi Ozma83,
If you can get flights cheaply enough then I say go for it - if you normally would pay for a hol to somewhere else (europe etc) then just use that money and this will be a once in a lifetime experience, especially if safari's etc are included in the win - think, will I ever be able to safari paying for the whole lot and if its a no then you have your answer!
I won a trip to canada, it included the flights but I paid the extra to upgrade, just to have that experience as normally couldn't afford flight and upgrade (it was lush and just waiting for a lotto win so I can do it all the time!)

THANKS TO ALL WHO POST COMPETITIONS0 -
im not being horrid but why are you even asking about should you go etc because flights arent included , it stated this in the original post ....
The prize is a 7 day Cape Town and Aquila experience in South Africa for 2 people sharing a room (flights to/from South Africa are not included). During this 7 day safari guests will stay at two properties: the 4 star Premier Hotel Cape Manor and the 4 star Aquila Private Game Reserve.........
so you surely made a decision then that it was worth paying for the flights if you won hence entering it ! , if you are now humming and arring thats unfair on the people who entered knowing what was involved who lost out to you and whoever the first winner was ( who prob declined because no flights ! ) that my opinion anyway , i shall now stand back and wait to be berated , but IT WAS IN THE POST !!my name is Kit and im addicted to competitions , the what if is my driving force

Congratulations! Only you know if you can really afford the flights & extras. You could be looking at £1000+. I don't enter for hols with no flights as I don't consider a win which I have to pay hundreds of pounds to take, as a very good prize. Don't accept it if it will cause you stress & grief!0

Congrats - go for it, it's a holiday of a lifetime!

I think it is ok to um and ah even if you knew there were no flights. I would also say this is a great place to be able to do that as the voice of experience gives great advice. Negative comments are really not necessary are they??
Well done winner and it sounds as if you are in a situation to be able to say yes and have fun for your 30th.

I'm with Kat on this one. Poor form in my opinion. Leave comps like this to those who accept the T&Cs when they enter.0

I would go for it!
I didn't enter - having 3 kids it wasn't an option for me, but if I didn't I would have entered and been off like a shot if I won.
well done, it would make an amazing 30th & chances like that don;t come around every day
