Tesco Credit Card - Points

Could someone please give me a clear answer as tesco bank customer services are useless.

When paying for fuel if I only use my clubcard credit card to collect the points but actually pay with my aqua card how many points will I get per £

None. I would think points are awarded for transactions actually debited to your Tesco card.

1 point per £1 even if you pay with a different card, I did something similar on Sunday.

That's not true actually. When I buy fuel and groceries at Tesco's I always put my points on my clubcard credit card but pay with my cashback card. The only thing I lose on the tesco card is the one point for every £4 spent from Tesco bank.

Exactly, I used to do the same thing, but over the last 6 months, the local BP garage has been cheaper than Tesco and gives nectar points and money off coupons, so I just go there instead.

So its definately 1 point for £1 and not
1 Point per £2 spend

Absolutely. It's all about doing what's best in your circumstances. I get weekly emails about the cheapest petrol in my area. Tesco are usually fairly competitive and it's not always worth the time and extra petrol required for me to go to the cheapest garage if it's a twenty minute drive away but if I'm driving past anyway then I'll take advantage of it.

It's 1 point per £1 at Tesco's just like a normal clubcard, plus an extra 1 point per £4 from Tesco bank if you pay with the card. It's also 1 point per £4 if you use your Tesco card in other shops and of course you can multiply the number of points by up to four in the rewards scheme (restaurant vouchers, days out, magazine subscriptions, itunes vouchers when available etc)

Collect 1 point for every £2 spent

Tesco Fuel paid for with a Tesco Clubcard Credit Card**
Collect 1 point for every £1 spent in addition to 1 point for every £4 spent in each purchase (£4 min)

I believe if you present the Tesco credit card as a Clubcard and then pay using any other credit card you will still get 1 point per £1 off Tesco in addition to any rewards the other credit card gives.

Correct, the website is just incorrect when it says "paid for with a Tesco Clubcard Credit Card" - you don't have to pay with it, just use it as the clubcard.
