No you cannot park an (un)insured car on the road.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

Uninsured? This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0 -
If the vehicle is not subject to a SORN, it needs to be insured under the continuous insurance rules, wherever it is parked.
If it is SORNED, it needs to be parked off the road.I am a mortgage broker. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. If its uninsured it needs to be parked off road, sorned and the tax returned for a refund. How long are you planning to leave it uninsured?Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

For 3 weeks, if I get it sorn, I'll get a refund on the tax already paid... But after three weeks what's the process of it taxed again?0

if you are only going to keep it uninsured for 3 weeks you should get away without sorning it as long as its kept off the road. To unsorn it you only need to retax it.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

You can't leave it parked anywhere. A taxed car has to have insurance. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Complete a V10 form and take it along to a licensing post office with the documentation set out on the reverse and your payment. For 3 weeks, if I get it sorn, I'll get a refund on the tax already paid... But after three weeks what's the process of it taxed again?
