When was the disassociation from Halifax? I have a reward aqua card and sent them an online message for a credit limit increase.
The reply showed an @halifax.com email address.Bad luck breeds bad luck.

I'm sure they changed last year as my partner had an Aqua card and had a letter notifying of the change to Progressive Cards Ltd.
It's on their website too.

Don't ask about Vanquis.. Had one of their cards before (in 2007.. [Don't ask, I had a lot of cards back then; being 18!], was not used and settled a few months after opening it). and I re-applied end of last year and they told me that because I already had a closed account with them I couldn't re-apply. Weirdos !!
How many did you get when you were 18?and what limits?
Aqua rejected me even when they sent a letter asking me to reapply!0 -
A couple of days after I turned 18, my bank back then (Lloyds) gave me a CC with £1500 limit, you have to remember, credit was easier to gain back then as apposed to nowadays. Long story short, I defaulted and currently repaying the CC off at £100 a month!. Lesson learn't for me

Lloyds TSb - £1500 (Defaulted)
Aqua - £300 (Closed and settled)
Vanquis - £300 (Never used and closed)
£1000 Lloyds TSB overdraft (Defaulted)
Only just getting back on my feet again after all of the defaults and CCJ
, wish I knew how it would have affected me in later years.! 0 -
