Just the 6 of us, me, OH and our 4 children. Although we normally cook enough for the 50 thousand.
Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j
  • My Christmas is going to be hectic and tbh I'm starting to dread it! It starts on Friday 21st when my Christmas 'night out' starts at lunchtime. OH has just told me that he is also out that afternoon/evening for his SECOND works Xmas doo. My Dad and Step-mum also arrive that evening for the weekend and will probably have to pick me up on the way home.....
They stay until Sunday when I'll probably just have enough time to change the bed before my Mum, Step-dad, and sister arrive to stay from Sunday to Thursday.
Xmas Eve will be spent with mum prepping for Xmas day - apparently we're having Pate (homemade) and Oatcakes, and also prawns and smoked salmon starters. Turkey and all the trimmings to follow, and then we have a homemade yule log; pavlova; and raspberry and white chocolate sherry trifle!
Nine of us sitting down to eat here, 8 adults and one child, one with a gluten free diet, another who has just had a hip replacement - I'll be glad of a rest when my lot go home on the Thursday to prepare for a peaceful New Year as I'm on call with work!

    Phew!
