Opinions on En Suite

We stayed in connecting hotel rooms both en suite when the children were 3 and 2. Kids were in one room and we were in the other with the connecting door open. Heard a noise about 2 am and went to investigate and 2 year old was standing in her pj's in the toilet, with one foot stuck down the U-bend! Other adventures have included mini-floods, when she has been playing in the bathroom and forgotten to turn off taps.
I would keep the ensuite as the guest room at least until the children are a lot older!0 -
I'd give it to my daughter. We have ensuites in our house and dont see the point in keeping them just for when people come to stay, may as well use them for everyday. Especially when your daughter is getting up in the night for the loo.
Only thing I would mention is to keep an eye on her and her friends when they come over as I have had to clean up a whole bottle of shampoo from the floor when they used it as a skating rink!0
