Another Mobiles.co.uk cashback screwup
Options
I have just received two emails from Mobiles.co.uk telling me my two claims are rejected because I was overpaid on claims in the past. There was no dates or amounts. As far as I am aware I have not been overpaid. The cashback amount was over £200 and I have definitely not been overpaid by £200.
If I was, then surely a few dates and amounts would be reasonable. I have emailed Mobiles.co.uk back, asking for an explanation and the name and address of the complaints manager.
On my previous claim I was informed it was accepted then informed it was rejected. I emailed but no response. Then I received the cheque. This probably has some bearing on my current rejection. If Mobiles.co.uk would elaborate then perhaps I would know. As it is now, looks like my only course of action is the small claims court. No need to ask if you know what you're doing. "As far as I'm aware" isn't relevant; if you aren't aware you shouldn't be doing cashbacks in the first place. If you are aware (though I am highly dubious from your post that you actually are) issue a LBA then sue if needbe. Don't waste time on "complaints managers" or explanations" - that's their problem IF they are wrong. The ONLY qwuestion is, are they - and you shoud know that IF you know what you're doing.0
