Hi
Ive won item on ebay and its in the usa. seller looks fine 3 neutrals in 7578 sales, one says good seller one damaged in transit and one looks like buyer error. Item comes with all the coa's and other feedback looks fine.
Its alot of money for me and just wanted to ask if theres anything else i should know/do also if anyone knows what customs charge might be on an item over £100 pounds. thanks

Seems a bit late to be worrying if you have already bought it. The feedback looks fine unless there is any more indication of damage as of course if item does arrive damaged you'll have to ship it back again for a refund.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Might be a £5 to £10 handling fee on top.

It depends somewhat on what the 'type' of item is. For example, I never buy anything electronic - especially not cameras on eBay, but I'll happily buy a painting, since it's not something that could suddenly stop working in 3 months."The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing.

Don't worry too much about the duty as this is likely to be only a few per cent and only applies for high value items. The main charge will be VAT which will be charged on the item value plus postage, normally at 20% and the clearance fee of typically 8-12 Pounds.0

Is it a framed set - if so it is unlikely to be classified as clothing. If a collectors piece, it's likely to fall into TH 9705, with a reduced VAT rate of 5% and a duty rate of 0%0
