Finally got to T's today and it was a very productive shop. Managed to get a £16.50 spend down to £7, 270 cc points (with T monthly coupons) and a till split for a free box of mince pies. Not sure what triggered it but not going to complain as I love mince pies :-)
Can't wait for tomorrow, hoping for a Terry's glitch like last year. It's a family tradition that everyone has one in their stockings. Just a shame they stopped doing the mint ones, as my OH is allergic to orange but could have the mint instead.
I have just seen this on the Poundland bargain thread thanks to littlemissdisco - on grabbit ." Terry's 175g chocolate orange in my local store were £1 each on the shelves but scanning at 3 for £1 -bargain!:) Got a few as stocking fillers! "0 -

We bought a TV guide at the weekend, for NEXT week and not this! I still wear a hat indoors and a scarf and a fleece or I get dressed and put my dressing gown over the top - mainly daytime if I have the house to myself. If its only me home who cares if the house is chilly. I'd rather pay a smaller ammount for the electric dd and spend the money on things I would actually like“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Shopping free day, put the tree up instead :j
This one gave me a chucke, so thought I would share
After queuing up at the Tesco checkout this morning, Mr Smith said to the cashier, "Can you do this any cheaper?"
"I'm afraid not," she replied, "If we did it for you then we'd have to do it for everybody."
Mr Smith said, "Yeah, but it's got today's date on it. If nobody buys it then it's just going to get thrown away."
"Look sir, you're holding up the queue. Do you want the newspaper or not?!"
have a good night

Love it
Price promise still not working:mad::mad::mad:
I added some wombled points on at CS today and the women said I can only take 3 per month:eek: and she added both my receipts together (I had a 19 pointer and a 28 one) so I had a receipt saying 48 pts had been added (yes I guess she couldn't be bother to correctly add them) didn't sign them though so I won't moan
But I wondered if adding them together sends alarm bells ringing to HO? maybe I'm being paranoid:o just seemed odd. And also is there anyway CS can contract HO over clubcard abuse? like on their menu hit XYZ for abuse?
p.s. Evening folks0
