I had Shingles on my face last year. the rash was above my eye and followed a nerve round my face. Went to the walk-in-centre thinking this was what I had, to be told by doctor in very poor English he had no idea what it was.
I suggested Shingles but he said he had never seen a Shingles rash that looked like it.
Next day rash and pain was worse so asked in pharmacy, pharmacist took oner look and said it was definitely Shingles and was dangerous because of being round my eye and I needed and immediate appointment at GP's for anti-virals and also hospital eye clinic. She rang my Gp's and insisted they saw me straight away. Have some scarring from the rash but otherwise OK except when very tired when the nerve seems to flare up.

Shingles pain can last for years and as far as I am aware Shingles can't be caught off anyone with Shingles, they can only catch the Chicken Pox Virus from you if they haven't previously had it. Once you have had Chicken Pox the virus stays dormant and tends to come out as Shingles when you are very run down. But saying that it's funny that both my Mum and friend had Shingles in the few months before me.

There is a vaccine for shingles some surgeries give it with flu jab,
Ours doesn't so I asked for it ,still awaiting reply.

Comparison total (compared products only) £43.37 £39.68
Think you might be kinda getting it, however, unless I am missing something in your list (which is highly possible), the idea is to buy things that are cheaper or the same price or n/a compared to Waitrose, not waste money buying things that are more expensive there, thus reducing your apg.

The G&B by itself gives an apg of £9.93, so maybe the next time you do the FF/G&B shop, just go the flump route, you know it makes sense!!:D:D

My oh grew up in a farmhouse which only had a fire in the living room, no other heating in the house. At Christmas time they used to make the trifle and put it in the bedroom to set as it was the same temperature as the fridge.
My f-I-l did eventually have central heating installed but it wasn't until the 1990s
Needless to say there was enough money secreted away in various accounts to baffle the tax man, that being far more important than renovation and modernising and making the house comfortable for their later years.

My Mum and Dad's is in Winsford mhoc...not far from you :D
