Potential new trigger people???
We have been umming and ahing for weeks over the Thornton's Premium Collection 214g as a trigger and I know a few have tried unsuccessfully with it.
But today it is showing on MSM as £3.49 in Waitros£ and NOT in the 3 for £10 - it does show as N/A for Mr A but we know they sell it and I am SURE that it never showed for W's until now.Mr A have it on their site at £7 and 3 for £10 so if (if) it works then the APG would be for more than you had paid as it would compare at the full £21?
Still a gamble obviously but anyone willing to try, today is definitely the first time I have seen it on MSM as stocked in W's and at £3.49.
I thought this wouldn't work as different barcodes because the one in A's is wrapped and the one at W isn't
shoot me if I am thinking of wrong box of chocs lol0 -

Firstly,Morning everyone!:)
When the Thorntons were half price at Morrisons, I tried twice but both times came up N/A.
The packaging is different on the A. ones, even though the weight is still the same. This may have something to do with them not comparing.:(N1LDA:D0 -
Morning everyone
I had a similar problem last night and nearly had my first ever trouting. I got two WW meals with a shop and went through self service. I also was using a voucher for a can of Baxters soups. These were the only vouchers I was using other than APG and £5 off £40. The assistant came over to approve the coupons. She picked up the WW coupons which had both scanned but awaiting approval and said she would have to get them checked and went off. She went off and I waited. After 5 or so minutes a young lad came over and approved the coupons. I had just finished paying when the first lady came back with a security guard. She said that they couldn't take the WW coupons as there was a scam with them and they had had loads being used. I explained that they had been approved and I had paid for my shopping. She wasn't happy and said there was nothing she could do then, so let me go. God knows why she brought a security guard, but I'm well spooked now and won't be using any more. I've only used half a dozen in total.
they like back-up if theres a problem i think as security have more athority than them i think hun -
i look at it as a scare tactics :rotfl: it dosnt bother me thou as i dnt do ilegail things (most as h8t coupons but no-one seems to know why)0 -

Bubbs, I must've missed this but were you flooded this time? I was thinking about you when all this was going on earlier in the year as I remember you posting then? I shall go back and have a search through your posts, but I do hope you are ok xx
I have to admit I have been skim reading as I just have no time to myself at the moment, so apologies if I miss people's news, I know, not a good effort, sorry!
And glad to hear bulbs is home again :TTiger

I baked 3 Xmas cakes last weekend and have just brushed some more brandy over them to keep moist before the marzipan goes on. Is it wrong that I licked the brandy laden brush after:eek::rotfl::rotfl:Tiger

Thanks for letting me (and Mrs Jagger) know.:j:j:j
WoooHooo - thank god I read back! I dragged the OH,DD,DS to Hyde Park this summer - yes, the one when the plug was pulled.
The weather had been dreadful that week (of course) and so we only went up to see Bruce, rather than the whole day. There were already thousands there, but when I asked the kids where they wanted to stand, DS (15y) said "At the front"!!! Well, it was quite embarrassing pushing through, with our little train of 4. Got about a third of the way back, and stayed put. Made friends with those around us. Then DS (13y) fainted!! Hubby dragged him out and they sat at the back. DD and I stayed there and I was right in front of him!! Woo - not that close, but I had a great view. It was worth the 35 year wait!!!! He opened with Thunder Road, stripped bare - just piano, and him and OMG - his voice! (Going weak thinking of it!!!:rotfl:) I confess to a few tears!! LOL! My DD was blown away - she looked at me and whispered "Oh! His voice"!!
So - the whole family were converted. He is something else live - as we drove home I put the CD on in the car and DD asked me to turn it off - she said it was just not as good as hearing him live! What a great family outing!!:oThanks for listening guys!!!!!
