    Evening all.
When you use the Asda £5 voucher in Tesco, do you have to have the receipt attached.

    TIA :)

Tesco staff tend to consider them (the sada receipts) a nuisance - well the staff I choose to go to;)

Have been into 2 tesco express stores to check out the glenfiddich as reported on Hot UK Deals. First had 1 litre bottle of glenfiddich and that scanned £34+. They had the 70 cl bottle and they scanned at £12. This is still cheap for Glenfiddich. I think this is £22 in Tesco, £25 in Asda. In there they had the small triple pack of 3 - 50cl bottles - I think it was 18 year old, 15 and 10 year old (can't remember exactly) and these were £5.20 for the pack. They are £10 in Asda. Would make a nice little gift for someone. The guy behind the desk said they are usually £10+, it is the first time he has seen them at this price.

In the second Express they had the 1 litre bottle which scanned at £34+ and next it it was a bottle £6.76 - I had a look in the container and it was a half bottle - 35 cls. Still a good price for Glenfiddich. I think this is usually around £12. HTH

    Evening all,

    What a busy day

Hospital appt went as well as we could have hoped for :)
Histology has confirmed classical Hodgkins lymphoma which according to the consultant is good  Scan from Thursday showing no obvious other tumours :j So I don't have to have a bone marow biopsy and the plan is to start chemo next week. As i'm youngish (31) and my tumour is big (10-15cm ) they are going to go for the intensive rather than standard chemo as I should tolerate it ok. Am a bit nervous but more than ready to get on with things now.

So I've been on a mission this afternoon.....
Hair appt booked to chop it all off before it falls out, dentist arranged to get the once over, new pillows, cushion pads and cleaning bits bought. Must get house clean! Feel like i'm nesting again like before I had Harry :p

Also had till spit arrive with my Sains home delivery for £6 off £30 spend so would have been rude not to have relieved them of a few more baby wipes and nappies :rotfl:

Thanks once again for all of your thoughts :A

So pleased your meeting with your consultant was so positive today. I know all the elite are thinking of you.
After you have nested and filled the freezer up elite style, one great tip I was given a few years ago when doing a course about coping with extreme exhaustion, was to get a small box and fill it with the things you know you crave when feeling under the weather.
Tips were favourite dvd or music, relaxing bubble bath and special indulgent chocolate, good book or even posh knickers. Anything that you know you like to snuggle up with.
Then if you have a tired day (and you have someone to look after the kids) you can just get out your box and everything you need to relax and indulge is there waiting for you.
Mine was filled with a copy of Cosmo, Sex and the City Movie and Body Shop Divine calm stuff.
Understand wanting to make things easy for eveyone around you but it is important to nuture yourself as you will be no good to anyone if you are exhausted.
