Sorry fuzzgun19 but we've seen glitches get fixed before and the APG results are not good for people who shopped before the fix but checked after
Best thing to do if you can't print out ASAP is either
1 check value on the app (the APG amount is locked into the system from this point and will stay at that amount. If for any reason the amount did change you could email the higher amount to yourself from inside the app)
2 check on a PC and go so far as to enter name/address/email fields until the voucher pops up on screen. You don't have to print it but so long as you get to this screen the APG amount will again be "locked in"
HTHs
And then save voucher as a PDF to print later or copy to a word file etc0 -
I managed to bag myself a £95 saving in Dwell today! :j
They recently posted us out a magazine showing a table reduced from £149 to £74. The missus said it would be perfect for the new house and she really wanted to get it.
I googled for any discount vouchers and the results took me to a page on MSE telling me to buy the Ideal home magazine for a £20 off, no minimum spend voucher that could be used on any items (i.e. sale items).
So I bought the mag using wombled APGs and went to get the table yesterday (last day of the vouchers validity). SA was processing my order when she said "that'll be £129 please". It was coming up at full price of £149!!:eek:
I showed them the mag, explained I only came in because it was on sale at £74 and I wanted to use a £20 off voucher and manager apologised and agreed to honour the advertised price.
All going great but then, because of the value of the discount it got passed up to HO/CS to authorise and they said "no"
This led to several back and forth calls yesterday and today in which we debated several points of law :rotfl:
They said the catalogue was "an invitation to treat not a confirmed offer of sale" and that trading standards allows them not to sell something at an advertised price if it is an error. I fired back with "I totally agree with you (they weren't expecting that). However, your manager did offer to sell it to me for £54 and I accepted that offer".
They said the manager didn't have the authority to discount so much, my response was "they are an agent of the company and it was reasonable for me to assume that they had the authority and therefore the company is bound to honour the contract" (I never knew any of this stuff a year ago!! :rotfl:)
They agreed to reduce the price to £74. :j
Then I reminded them about my £20 voucher that had expired whilst all this was being debated. I said that I wanted the price to be reduced by this £20 or else I wanted them to give me a £20 giftcard to put towards something else
I think they wanted rid of me by now because I got my table for £54!!

Yes, sorry I should have put the detail. It did compare to sainsbobs for the £9 odd one and the £7 odd one was against W0 -

After you have nested and filled the freezer up elite style, one great tip I was given a few years ago when doing a course about coping with extreme exhaustion, was to get a small box and fill it with the things you know you crave when feeling under the weather.
Tips were favourite dvd or music, relaxing bubble bath and special indulgent chocolate, good book or even posh knickers. Anything that you know you like to snuggle up with.
Then if you have a tired day (and you have someone to look after the kids) you can just get out your box and everything you need to relax and indulge is there waiting for you.
Mine was filled with a copy of Cosmo, Sex and the City Movie and Body Shop Divine calm stuff.
Understand wanting to make things easy for eveyone around you but it is important to nuture yourself as you will be no good to anyone if you are exhausted.
