OMG I have just found my first DTD. :T:T:T

    I hope it is new . :)

10 packs of Cadbury Chocolate Rolls (Family Pack) Yellow label at £1.20 but charged at £2 per pack. I got six packs. Paid and went back to check I was right and took photo on my phone of label. CS called a manager who said she would go and get the label. Absolutely no problem - £9.60 dtd with a smile. So £2.40 for 60 chocolate rolls dated February !

I have only done one dtd before which Daisyduck helped me with so really pleased to have found my first one :j:j:j

Will post receipt in a while.
Smile :) and hopefully the world will smile back

    Afternoon all.

For the NI gang - i've just been refused using an apg in the new Tes at C'reagh. Was told they are not taking any printed coupons at all now... I didn't argue but just wondered if anyone else had heard and if it was across all NI stores. Anyone else had probs?

Just back and used an apg in T's Dgn no problem. I also used a pp in same shop. hth :)

    Thanks for all your thoughts.
I am lucky in one respect as its not inside, this is all in the shed and i can live with that as long as no water gets inside.
But by god it was cold in there as all the electricity has been cut off, all my food thats going to be wasted :eek::eek: but we are luckier than some people that have been killed or the water in there homes :(
We just need the rain to stop the river is so high if we have much more it will be over :( as the water that come over before was controlled flooding to stop the town flooding , as if that makes it any better :rotfl::rotfl:

Hello, just popping in after a manic day. Happy belated birthday to those celebrating. I almost bought one of the £5 cake kits this week, but you do have to add a few more ingredients than the Mary Berry ones last year - the item which put me off buying was egg white powder. No idea how much it costs or how vital to the recipe it is x

    Hi
Do they have banner outside saying that they take them? If not that might be why they didn't accept them. not sure but I haven't noticed the banner at that store.

I am totally confused by exactly which vouchers/coupons Tesco are taking ! (And I reckon their staff are just as confused as me).

Before I did my shopping today I went and asked the checkout super if their T's were still taking vouchers from ASDA. (I did this cos the banners that were there last week had gone) She came back and said they hadn't heard anything to the contrary so they thought that all A's vouchers were being accepted. At the checkout, they took an A's £5 conditional spend plus a couple of APG's and didn't turn a hair. To be fair , I didn't specify exactly what vouchers I had from A's - but neither did she and they obviously have just told their checkout staff to accept A's vouchers without telling them to only take specific types.

All this trying to poach other supermarkets customers by taking other vouchers is confusing everyone and they can hardly complain if customers just hand over a batch and let the 'till' decide. It seems that SOME mainland T's are taking APG's and some are not - and its impossible to know for sure if they are really valid.

I knew it! Since I wasn't able to use them there, I thought I'd see if knock'g would still take them - signs still up so knew it would be ok ... BUT I found 6 Disney DVDs with the out of date bogof stickers and 6 other DVDs with an out of date bogof SEL! Nice little £120 DTD for me!

Apg accepted no problem as well

    That'll teach 'em!!
