Stupid Ebay with their stupid rules:mad:.
It's policies are totally loaded on the side of the buyer. Why they made the rule that the seller can't leave negative feedback is beyond me.
Then there's the stipulation that Paypal must be a payment option on all auctions. The fact they own Paypal too means they make an absolute killing in fees.
A realistic competitor is well overdue to take them down a peg or two.

Thanks Both!!
I actually don't want to open a dispute or sell it to them now as they appear notorious for leaving negative feedback!!
Can I just cut my losses and relist?
Sorry but its best you go the non payer dispute route. That way if they don't pay you can close the dispute after 4 days and they cannot leave feedback, and you get your end fee back.
If they did pay, you would need to post it, but send it by recorded delivery, just in case they claim not to have received the parcel.
If you ask them to cancel the transaction and they refusel, then you lose your fees and they can still leave feedback.
If you ask them to cancel the transaction and they accept, they can leave any feedback they chose.
If you decided to just sell to bidder no 2, then bidder 1 could also pay and you would be in a difficult position. Also bidder 1 could report you as a non performing seller.
It really is best to do the non payer dispute and then when you close it offer the item to bidder no 2.
Just don;t leave feedback for bidder 1 if you go the unpaid item route.
