    I read it as OP's mate is worried about counterfeit cigarettes in Uzbekistan,and wants some genuine ones.Non EU flights have good deals at the airport.Asking other ex-pats might be the way to go regarding locally bought.

    Not strictly true, I was in Poland last week and 200 cigs cost about £22

    Which is a far cry from the £4 they cost earlier in the year in Dubai.

    And even further from the £2 they cost in Cambodia the year before.
