Virgin 3 for 30 deal?

Hi,

I am presently on Virgin 3 for 30 deal,with basic starter TV package,broadband and basic phone.I hardly use the phone...i was just wondering is there any other cheaper option available anywhere?

In March I was looking at the BB/Phone/Mobile deal, at that time they were throwing in a basic Freeview box because of the Phone option.

If that's still the case, could you not have just BB + Phone for £20.

i'm with virgin but rather be with sky because personally it would be cheaper and i'd still get the sky channels

Dont forget if you go anywhere else you'll have to pay £11 line rental to BT . Why not phone up Virgin Media retentions and so if they'll do you a deal .

Again why not phone up retentions and see what they offer you . $ky DEFINTELY wont be cheaper then .

just to let u know that i have subscribed for 1 extra TV channel for which I pay 11 pounds so in total I pay 41 pounds for the 3 things!

I rang virgin earlier this month and downgraded to the 2 for £20. Broadband and phone (ditched TV). You get the small TV package free in any case as long as you have the phone so I still have the TV just with reduced channels.

I've not missed the extra TV channels at all and there's so many other things to do at this time of year. I could always upgrade again in the winter if I get bored.

BTW they were desperate to do a 'deal' but I was not interested as things stood I was already only paying them £10 p/m for the full TV package but I did not even feel it was worth that - TV is just so poor these days, all boring reality shows, american imports etc.
