are o2 capable of mugging
True story "honest"
Got mugged (not by o2 ) Friday eve, had mobile snatched.I had it on a monthly contract with o2. ASAP i called them to report it and a nice sympathetic CS chap blocked phone and sim. As it was out of hours there was nobody there to organize a new sim so he gave me a number to ring in the morning.
Sat. morning, calls number and explains situation (when i could get a word in edge ways) and was given 2 options.
A> (Take about 3 days) Debit my account £10 and post new sim to me.
B> Go to local o2 shop and buy one for £10.
Then i have a brain wave A while back i got a free new pay as you go sim from o2. It had never been activated.
Back on the borrowed phone i go to try my luck. Out of luck,it wouldn't work. CS did try and then gave me same 2 options as above.
Have Bus pass Will Travel, off i go to the o2 shop and repeat my tale of woe.
A young girl sold me new sim for £10 and fitted it for me.(incorrectly:rolleyes: )
Then after doing something on a computer she assured me everything was in order, i just had to be patient for about 24 hours and phone would work.:undecided
30 hours later Surprise Surprise! phone won't work!
Back on borrowed phone and got a very nice CS lass (sounded like a Geordie god bless her) and she was brilliant(Sunday morning and all that;) )
I explained my problem and she sorted out and wait for it,
Refunded the £10 she said i had been Wrongly charged in the first place
Result> Later that day, Mobile working normal (daughters old one)
>to-day checked account on-line, sure enough £10 is there
One out of 4 a 25% chance of getting a good one.(CS)
I wonder which one was correct about the £10
Better me than o2 anyway:beer:
