Nationwide soft quote check.......

When I applied it was over the telephone as the Internet was down, he never said accepted in principal just that it was accepted.......wait two days for documents to return with Id and then a maximum of ten days for the card etc.........on tender hooks now though!!

I applied well did a soft quote and was quoted £1000 limit at 15.9apr clicked to carry on and was asked to enter direct debit details so I did have I passed

Not until the card lands on your doorstep.

and then they can take it away at any time in the future, which could be 1 week after they've given it to you (yes, this has happened).

Once you have created the first transaction on the card, then you have passed, but they can still terminate the contract at any time.

I just wanted to speed up the process to be fair, and just called them to ask if i could fax them a copy of my ID, and thats when they said to take it to a branch. They need original ID but you can do it. I took it in, waited a few hours, called Nationwide back and they confirmed it had been recieved and said they would send the pin and card out to be recieved within 10 working days.
